Sale Description

Ric Peterson, Dean Swanberg and Dave King spent twenty years assembling one of the utmost unique tracts of land in Western Canada - if not North America.   One of a kind, stunningly majestic geography, you might expect only expect to see in a national park, such as Waterton or perhaps the Sierra Nevada’s.  The purpose was grassland bison pasture; the passion was uniqueness and raw beauty.  In time, over one thousand head of bison would roam freely over these fifteen quarters of virgin pasture.  The Park itself formed the most westerly land base of their large ranch.   Part badlands, part pristine prairie landscape - all sprinkled with rare flora.

A showcase bison operation, on all quadrants.  The main handling system, professionally engineered and built for the stress-free handling of bison, on that one day of the year they are managed by man.  Nothing was economized on the construction of the entire ranch, right down to the detailed retrofitting of the rail caboose, that sits next to a trout fishing pond.   Sit on the deck of the caboose and watch your grandkids catch their first trout on fly rod.

The entire pasture park land is cross fenced for bison.   All corner post are on screw piles.  Two large hay sheds, 3 large GOOD ON pole sheds and a cabin surround the main handling area.   The Park land itself is the focal point of the entire ranch.   All fifteen quarters are contiguous without any internal public roads.   A entire park most surely never to be duplicated again in Western Canada.  With careful husbandry, the integrity of the natural lands always maintained.

Owners Peterson, Swanberg and King have retained CLHbid.com to sell this two thousand four-hundred-acre expanse of pasture land.   Please check CLHbid.com website for details from time to time.
